At Opticks we define a Role as a collection of permissions that are available to a user. Instead of assigning permissions one by one, we have created this collection of the most common use cases to help you get started quickly.

We define a user Permission as the ability that has a specific user to perform an Action. For example, If a user has the Campaign Pause Permission, it will be able to perform the action of pausing a campaign.

In order to change Permissions from a user you have to revoke its access to the account, i.e. revoking the corresponding Roles that provide those particular Permissions.
