📄️ A quick intro to User Management
Within Opticks Back Office you are able to control the access to your account by the different users related to it. Only users with Manage Users permission can customise permissions for new and existing users in your Opticks account.
📄️ Change permission levels or revoke access from a user
In order to change Permissions from a user you have to revoke its access to the account, i.e. revoking the corresponding Roles that provide those particular Permissions.
📄️ An overview of User Access Control
This feature provides the account administrators with a way of seeing who logged into the Opticks Back Office, when and from what IP address. User Access Control also offers optional features to control the session duration (how ofter users need to introduce credentials again) and to implement IP restrictions.
📄️ A simple example of inviting a read only User
In this example we are going to show you how to invite a user with the email "john.doe@example.com" to your Opticks Account and assign it viewing permissions during the process.

In the future you will be able to grant temporary levels of permission to a user by adding an expiration date to a user's Role.
